She began her modeling career in the Twin Cities, signing with Minneapolis-based Vision Management Group when she was a high school senior. She had several years of success but found the modeling world limiting; at only five feet, eight inches, she didn't have the height for high fashion. This turned out to be a blessing, however, as at the age of 22 she decided to move to Los Angeles and pursue an acting career. She was in the movies Prom and The Sitter before landing the coveted role of Lacey Porter in Twisted. She is also best friends in real life with Maddie Hasson who plays Jo Masterson
She played a supporting role in the 2011 comedy The Sitter, directed by David Gordon Green ("Pineapple Express") and starring Jonah Hill and Sam Rockwell. On television, she made an appearance on NBC's long-running soap opera Days of Our Lives.
